Από τις 16 έως τις 18 Σεπτεμβρίου 2011, στην "Τεχνόπολις" του Δήμου Αθηναίων φιλοξενείται φέτος το 2ο Athens Bike Festival. Μια γιορτή του ποδηλάτου στο κέντρο της Αθήνας που έχει στόχο να δώσει την ευκαιρία στους φίλους του ποδηλάτου αλλά και στο ευρύτερο καταναλωτικό κοινό, να γνωρίσουν τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στο χώρο και να έρθουν σε στενότερη επαφή με την ποδηλατική κοινότητα που εξαπλώνεται με ταχείς ρυθμούς στην πόλη μας.
Το Bike Festival οργανώνεται κατά τη διάρκεια της Ευρωπαϊκής Εβδομάδας Κινητικότητας (European Mobility Week – 16-22 Σεπτεμβρίου) που φέτος έχει θέμα την εναλλακτική κινητικότητα. Πρόκειται για την πανευρωπαϊκή εκστρατεία που σκοπό έχει να ευαισθητοποιήσει τους πολίτες ως προς τη χρήση των μέσων μαζικής μεταφοράς, του ποδήλατου και του περπατήματος για τις μετακινήσεις τους μέσα στην πόλη.
Το Bike Festival αποτελεί το σημείο αναφοράς για οτιδήποτε έχει να κάνει με το ποδήλατο και την αστική μετακίνηση στην Ελλάδα. Δύο είναι οι βασικοί άξονες του φεστιβάλ:
• Ποδήλατα: Οι επισκέπτες θα μπορούν να ανακαλύψουν τις εναλλακτικές που έχει να τους προσφέρει η αγορά σε όλες τς κατηγορίες ποδηλάτων – συμβατικά, αναδιπλούμενα, ηλεκτρικά αλλά και αξεσουάρ και υπηρεσιών. • Εκδηλώσεις: Διαδραστικές ή μη, οι εκδηλώσεις σκοπό έχουν να δημιουργήσουν την αίσθηση της γιορτής, να δώσουν την ευκαιρία της συμμετοχής, να εκπαιδεύσουν, να εμπνεύσουν έναν εναλλακτικό τρόπο ζωής και κίνησης μέσα στην πόλη.

All 2010 models have a 37V 14Ah = 518 Wh battery that weighs 3,8 kg. 2009 models had a 37V 10Ah = 370 Wh battery that weighed 3,1 kg. The 2010 batteries have a 40% larger capacity and range.
All models (except Vente and Carro) have connections for a second battery.
All models (except LIV) are TBC up to 6 km/h (you do not have to pedal).
All models are certified in accordance to EN 15194:2009 “Cycles – Electrically power assisted cycles – EPAC Bicycles”.
The Cadence has Shimano Nexus Inter 8 gears compared to the 2009 model that had Shimano Nexus Inter 7 gears.

12/10/2009 In the magazine "K" included with the newspaper Kathimerini on 11/10/2009 there is an article "Put your bike in the power socket". A very interesting article with general information concerning electric bicycles and their use.
The article has some general information about electric bikes and some specific reference to manufactures. The Li Po batteries used by eZee can be charged for the first time within 4-5 hours with a charger or 2-2,5 hours with the fast charger.
